Hi,
I would like to compare the 3DMark05 Scores of the 6600GT (agp or pci). I run the test at 8xAA and 16xAF and I got a score of 2041. It would be interesting to know the kind of scores other users of the 6600GT get. So if anyone runs 3dMark 05 at default settings but changes the nvidia driver settings to 8xAA and 16xAF please tell me the score, I am just interested in comparing various cards of various makers.

Be aware that benchtests will vary from system to system...so unless you're comparing against others who have similar specs as you, the numbers won't mean all that much.

Hi Jam,
You are right because I too have got such varied scores. I remember when my card was new i got a max score of 2200 with 8xAA and 16xAF. I checked yesterday and I was gettings scores of 1021 and 1554 with different versions of nvidia and via drivers.
Today, after formating and reinstalling xp with sp2 I am once again getting 2000+fps.
I would love to know what kind of scores others are getting with same settings. I had read before that having the right drivers is very important for performance, but I got to experience them first hand now. I am sticking with 81.85 nvidia drivers because they seem to work best with my card. I find it odd that even on my 1.7GHz processor I can play cod2, hl2 with 8xAA and 16AF and get frame rates ranging from 20-60fps. May be the 81.85 version of drivers does not implement AA as strongly as other drivers.

call of duty 2 at 20-60fps with 8aa and 16af? you are talking with all the other graphics options maxed out too, like models, particles, etc?
40 fps average would be hard even at 640x480. The average at 800x600 should be 20 average fps if you enable 8xAA and 16xAF and all other options.
Although i'm not sure how call of duty 2 performs using only pixel shader 2.
I suppose that by 8xaa you mean enabling 4x inside the game and other 4x from the drivers... cause at least half life and call of duty 2 don't support 8xaa from inside the game.
Mind calculating the average fps? cause even 150fps is possible if you look only the ground.

Hey,
I have installed COD2 demo again. How do you want me to calculate the average fps.
At the menu interface the fps is about 120fps but when the game loads its like 1 fps and during the game it is anywhere from 10 to 60fps.
How do you want me to go about measuring the average fps?
