6600 GT Ram type Question

OS: Windows Xp sp2
CPU/Ram: 512 DDR SDRAM
Comment:

I am Looking to buy a 6600 gt, it says the memory configuration for that card is DDR 3. will this work is my motherboard only supports DDR SDRAM? -or are theese in no way related.

processor:
2.9 GHz
533MHz fsb

In other words, it will work. Just make sure you get the proper version for your motherboard - AGP or PCI-e.
