Well, i have to buy a new video card upgrading from Geforce2 MX400 64mb to either Geforce FX 128mb 64bit or ATI RAdeon 9250 128mb 64 bit..but my friend told me that i have 2 buy a video card that has 128 bit for a better performance. Is 128mb 64 bit not gud enuf compared to that has 128 bit? Or, has Geforce FX 128mb has 128 bit version? Btw, my design for my PC is for gaming. Tnx..

if you want gaming then go with 128bit.64bit cards are crap.I think everyone will agree. And as for the Fx we dont know which series your on about.
E.g
Fx 5200,Fx 5500 series etc..Presscot 2.5g @ 533/133
2x256mb Samsung
Pny geforce 6 6600 GT
40gb seagate HDD
i845GE

Agreed. 64-bit cards are OK for "normal" use, but not for gaming. The 128-bit version of the same card is about 40% faster. Make sure the specs state 128-bit memory, if it's not listed as such, it's probably 64-bit. How much do you have to spend on a card? If you wanna keep the cost down but still get decent gaming performance, you can't beat the card I have...Radeon 9550 128MB/128-bit. There are 128-bit versions of the Radeon 9250 & it is cheaper, but the 9550 is a far superior card, plus it supports DX9. The 9550 beats the FX5200, FX5500, & FX5700LE. Basically, it's an underclocked Radeon 9600. If you use ATiTool, it will easily overclock to 9600 speed beacuase it actually IS a 9600!
