CPU/Ram: athlon 64 x2 4600+, 2gb

hey, im having some trouble running the test in 3dmark05, after the first game test, the benchmarks finish and im getting the error "Idirect3d9::getdevicecaps failed (D3D not available" sumthin along those lines, ive checked on the microsoft site, no help found,anyone know a solution or have an idea, everything appreciated, thanks, Chris

What video card do you have? If you have a non-dx9 capable video card, then you may recieve that error... I would update your drives to the latest.
www.nvidia.com if you own geforce
www.ati.com if you own radeon
The last thing I would do is re-install 3DMark05 and see if that error still exist.
