Hello All,
I have recently purchased a new motherboard (MS-6340 Ver:1) for my pc and installed it. Everything seems to be well except I get a "Genport I/O initialization Error" everytime I boot up my computer. From doing a little research, I have determined that this error is probably coming from my Voodoo card.
Can anyone tell me more about this card and this particular error?
I noticed there is a controller on the card (place where IDE cable might go). What is this used for?
I have tried finding a more recent driver for Windows XP but i haven't had any luck. Windows XP did recognize the card when I installed it, but the driver is from back in 2000. Does anyone know of a driver that fixes this bug?
Thanks,
Rob

Dual Voodoo2 cards were the original and only working sli ever produced before this year. The headers are for a sli cable to connect the cards together. Nothing of the time touched them for raw video performance. Visit:

for a couple of pics. Good luck sorting out the driver issue in XP. I like to hear the outcome.

Just Curious. Why are you using a Voodoo card. I think the last time I used one of those was back in 1996. At the time the SLI option was out of my budget as you needed two cards to complete the link but it would be interesting to see the result.
If you don't have any look getting it to work you can get a card with 10 * the performance of a Voodoo for no more than £30.
