i just got a 360 controller for the PC. can't get many games to use it tho, like half life 2, condemmed, deus ex 2... i updated my software, i can't figure it out??

Well, duh it is a 360 controller for an XBOX 360 i thought it would be obvious. Now heres something you need to have before you have an XBOX 360 controller --- can you guess what it is? An XBOX 360 system! Amazing right? If you want a controller for PC, which I don't think is pertinent at all, judging by how you can get along with a high-end Logitech Gaming Keyboard, and a Logitech MX5500/G5 Mouse, why don't you do some reading: http://peripherals.about.com/od/gam... Did you go to the game contollers in windows to see if it is recognized there? Did you try calibrating it? Also when you push buttons on the controller do the buttons light up in the properties window in game contollers? Also if windows isnt seeing it try another usb port or try removing usb contollers from device manager and restarting. Thanks all i can think of sorry. WHere did you get it at?
