Comment: I have noticed that Dell has announced a 30" monitor, and some people just thinking about use it for gaming: http://forums.toonzone.net/showthre... Well personally I do think $1199 is too expensive for me, with that budget I can get a tv.

Reply: (edit)30" monitors have been available for a long time now. Not only is that monitor expensive, but to get playable frame rates at its native resolution, you'd need a pair of high-end video cards running in SLI mode. The creme de la creme of Socket 939: Opty 185 @ 3.2GHz SLI'ed GTS-640s, both flashed to 625/1458/1950 4GB PC3200 Blu-Ray/HD-DVD, X-Fi A8N32-SLI Deluxe 3DMark06: 13896
