I have bought new INTEL 845GVSR, Pentium 2.4 GHZ. 64 mb video memory is inbuilt and I have 256 DDR ram. Computer Runs Fine, but when I started to play games take an example of very old game, AGE OF EMPIRES II. in start the game goes fine but in later when i get army and it takes more memory, The game runs very slow, i cant even scroll. I came back to widows and saw the task manager, the CPU usage were 100%, memory was used full. I cleared down all the viruses, spywares. -------------- I had amd 2400+ asus motherboard and 256 mb ram.. b4, it worked fine in that comp. the other games are slow from the scratch. like NFS ug, half life and vice city. let me have ur suggestions. Check for spy wear.. Because I can run Age of empires 2 on my old dell which has a 600 Mhz celeron processor and 96 mbs of ram andthe 810 chipset... And if you running anything else with it like.. AOL then that is more then likely it and you need to add more ram.. but if your only running that one thing then something is wrong

I dont know why u bought a new comp, ita almost the same as your old one. But anyways check for spyware. Mod it till it bleeds

well I checked for spyware with (Spy Sweeper and Adaware) thrice. no use. do u think its their video memory which is defected, like hardware defect. or is it something else. I bought new comp cuz ASUS mother AMD 2400+ restarts automatically without any notification and I had to change power supply and all stuff for that reason, changed SMPS like 5 to 6 times but the problem was still their so i sold it. Your problem is you're trying to play games with onboard graphics, plus you only have 256MB RAM. Subtract the 64MB used for video, & you only have 192MB left for the system...that's bearly enough for XP, let alone games Increase your RAM to at least 512MB & get a "real" video card Asus A7N8X-X 1800+ @ 8 x 210MHz 512MB PC3200 Asus Ti4800SE 128MB WinME/WinXP Pro

More ram is the key. I ran Age of King on my old p3 933mhz, 512mb of ram and a 32mb onboard video without any problem. Get more ram and a FX5200 or FX5700LE video card and it will work fine. It wont even cost 100$ AMD 64 3200+ 754 Abit KV8 Pro 1go DDR 400 Kingston FX5700LE 160 gb SATA Maxtor 80 gb WD
