XP lost driver for Samsung CD R/W

Yep. For some reason, Windows XP appears to have dropped the driver for the Samsung CD-R/RW SW-212B. I have the CDs to restore the system...which do absolutely no good for a machine that doesn't recognize that it has a CD of any sorts.
Any and all suggestions would be helpful. Thanks much

I think you should visit samsungusa.com and use their customer support option and post a meassage about your driver issue I think they will resolve it or choose your country from country list.
Well other way could be that you format the pc and reinstall any earlier version of windows.
