XP driver for 56USBSP

OS: Windows XP
CPU/Ram: PIII 1 GB, 512 MB

I am looking for a way to install the Best Data 56USBSP external modem in Windows XP. The manufacturer does not support the modem in XP and therefore has no drivers, not even beta. Windows detects and identifies the modem, and asks for a driver. Is there a compatible driver I can use or a way around this and use a generic driver?
