OS: Win 3.1
CPU/Ram: 500MHz AMD K6
Comment:
Where can i find drivers for Windows 3.1 for ES1938 card. The only and one installer from ESS homepage is wrecked. It's not working, just empty msgbox when i run the installer. And i cannot rename files because they are probably packed.
Or maybe somebody knows replacement for this?
Maybe ES1688/1788 or smthng will work? If somebody knows then plz tell me. I'll try 4 now test different drivers.

Do mean this one here, it downloaded in Zip format and the zip file unpacked OK.

You could always manually assign parameters as it appears to be sound blaster compatible:

Address: 220
DMA: 1
IRQ: 5
MPU-401: 300

Actually it appears that the files in the ZIP package do not correspond with the ES1938 listing, as I presumed it was a sound card then try the SETBLASTER statement at the begining of the MS DOS AUTOEXEC.BAT

SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1

I don't understand Win31 problem. When i run Setup.exe to install any sound card driver and then after Windows restarts it tell's me that he is: "unable to load ES19xx etc driver. Make sure it's in your Windows system folder".
Should i manually put it in there?
Or it's again one Windows bug? :S
