Hi,

Win 2000 is not detecting a modem (I have win 98 installed in another partition and everything works fine)

It's a HSP56MR modem on COM 4(in Win 98)
How do I get it get Win 2000 to detect it - do I need to upload different drivers, and if so how do I find the right one?

Thank you in advance

Herman Drost

I have the same problem.
I have tried 98 drivers, ME drivers,etc.
No dice.
The card is made by PCTEL.
Their web site states that the xp driver will be here "end of 2001"
If anyone finds it first, please post here, or let us know.
