WHERE'S MY CD ROM GONE?

Hi
I bought a 486 from a school for £20
I formatted the cdrive
I reloaded MSDOS
I reloaded Win 3.11

When the comp is swithced on the cd rom drive light comes on. But after bootup
it says Installing CDROM drive then:

NO DRIVE FOUND

What do I need to do?
