An error has occurred. Most likely, your session with Westell.com either timed out or could not be retrieved.Select the link below to access the Westell.com homepage.

It states:
"A90-220015-04
Manufacturer Discontinued WireSpeed™ Router
Westell technical support is offered to Internet Service Providers, independent phone companies, and distributors.
If you are an end user, please contact your Internet Service Provider for technical support"

I also have an A90-210015-04 and I lost the installation disk. I need the drivers and related files, and they are not available on the westell website. If anyone could make them available to me (if they're small, the email address could do), that'd be fantastic. Thanks.

I have the westell utilities & drivers disk ver:01.00.06 that came with my westell wirespeed DSL modem. Model #A90-210015-04.
Interested? E-mail me.

I just had the same problem - I needed to update the driver of Westell WireSpeed, because XP does not support it. However unbelievable it may be that the Westell site does not have a driver update, the Verizon site (I have Verizon DSL) did not have an update for the driver either. Their latest "Westell Modem Driver Update" (http://onlinehelp.verizon.net/SRVS/CGI-BIN/WEBCGI.EXE/,/?St=20,E=0000000000000919837,K=139,Sxi=18,problem=10300,command=restart,varset_sitevar=west_dsl), turned out to be a tool ModemUpgrade.exe which already expected a network connection to connect to god knows where. It asked me to reboot my machine, after which the machine was dead. I had to reboot in "last known working configuration" to get rid of their __stuff__. Also, notice that the latest version of the tool they had was for Win2000Pro (yes, as of Feb 17, 2004).
Which leads me to the real reason why I attempted all this - I cleaned up one of my machines, and my ASOUND LAN PCI 10/100 net card did not work properly with the modem over the Ethernet cable (using the USB cable was blocked by the missing driver problem). I tried to get a driver for that card from www.asound.com.tw (site could not be found), and then from www.asound.net (site did not have drivers). And I took these two sites from the floppy disk, which came originally with the ASOUND card.
Moral of the story 1: Beware of products from Westell, ASOUND, and Verizon.
Moral of the story 2: Brothers and sisters, next time you need to buy a NIC, do yourselvers a big favor, buy that standard 3Com or Intel card, and forget about it.
Peter
