I'm trying to find the driver for a webcam I
bought at a yardsale with no cd. The logo on
the front is a lowercase "i" with what looks like
a "c" wrapped behind it. I don't even know
where to begin looking for what brand it is. The
webcam itself is a small black orb on a small
post with padding on the bottom, it is usb, and
the accents are silver. There is also a red light
on the top. Can anybody help me figure this
one out?

Have you installed it in your computer? It'll recognize it's name for a second on the right lower corner of your desk top and it'll be recognized as new hardware then pop up it's name then you see what it's brand. It's a CIF Single Chip according to my device drivers, but I can't manage to find a driver for it. I don't know if I can post pictures of it online, either, so I don't think that'll work.
USB\VID_093A&PID_2460\5&2904E43D&0&1 is the instant ID
found in the device manager. I don't know how to use that
information.
... this should work it ... click this (then)>>>Download XP-SocPcCamerazenithusbdriver.rar
... to extract from "rar" archive use this click>>>WinRAR beta version

Not so sure about this driver but it's better than nothing http://www.trust.com/default.aspx. Also try to use belarc adviser they help on recognizing the whole specs of a computer and the name of each component that is installed on it. Give me a screen shot of it. If you want to share a picture upload it to photo bucket then post the url of the picture of the screen shot. the maker. I tried installing the driver but I can't figure out
where it is installing the driver to so I can direct device
manager to use it, and when I install the program they
provided itself it doesn't recognize I have the webcam plugged
in. The little red light is on but no connectivity. :(It's the Sakar 49152-DM
