hmm i'm not too good with computers and well theres a problem that keeps occuring when i play a game. it freezes the game and a pop up window comes on saying something like "the vtdisp driver has stopped functioning normally" i have no idea what to do to, so if anyone could suggest anything i would appreciate it a lot, thanks.

Would you happen to know what the onboard videochip is? Is it an IntelExtreme? The IntelExtreme is far from extreme when it comes to gaming.
The IntelExtreme doesn't seem to be supported by the game, if in fact that is the videochip you have. That doesn't necessarily mean it won't work - but it likely means that EA is not trying to tackle issues for that chip.
Unfortunately, an expensive computer is just that. An expensive computer. Without a decent videocard, all the memory and CPU power you have is going to waste. As a general rule, onboard video is garbage, unless it is an nForce board or ATi equivalent. There are several budget cards on the market for around $150 or less that will substantially improve gaming over most onboard solutions. If you are moderately to seriously into gaming, there is really no other route to take.
I know the last paragraph isn't what you wanted to hear, but it's the way it goes unfortunately.
If it's only online, you could consider running a spyware check but if it's happening online and offline you're out of luck without spending some money.
Always post back so we know how you did, or if I gave you some bad advice.
