go to www.divx-digest.com click software download DivX Codec 3.11 alpha unzip and install by double clicking Register_DivX.exe

after dling the .zip file and trying to install it, an error message showed that i don't have the Inf file... but it's right there in winzip... AHHH!!!

well, what can i say. this codec has saved hours of frustration. was given 5cds full of .avi video, but none of it worked. but now it does. thanx a lot, has helped me greatly.

Hmmm ... got the DivX file, and tried to install it on NT. Any reason why it doesn't (probably though 'cause I'm not an admin...) ? any trick to get around it ?! Thanks in advance !!!

when i click install on the DivX.inf there is an error message that says "The file 'DivX_c32.ax' on DivX ;.) MPEG-4 Video Codec Install Disk cannot be found..? I dont kno wuts wrong

I have the next problem, I download a movie, especifically spiderman in mov format, but when I want open the file, appear me the next error, quick time cann't read this file. I saw the content of the file and it say vids:div3,
Can anyone help me with this?

thanx you saved my computer nother half an hour looking trying to fix the problem with windows media player and my notebook would have gone flyin........out the window!! A litle exageration OK. But I was seriously PISSED!! Now that it works can someone mayby tell me why the files have an avi extension when the whole thing is called divx Also why doesnt microsoft give any info on this topic ? are they somehow not interested in people using divx? competition or whats the reason?
