I am trying to upgrade my 5-year-old PC with an additional 256Mb of SDRAM. I was advised to upgrade the BIOS as a direct download from the manufacturers' (Elonex) web site, which I have done, but I am now receiving a message on startup which says "your display adapter is not configured properly" and I am stuck in 16-colour mode. During the restart after the upgrade I was prompted to insert a disk labelled 'Windows 95/98 S3 Driver Disk' which I do not have. How do I obtain the correct driver update without having this disk?

First try going to start/run/and type msconfig then make sure there isnt a check in the 16x640x480 VGA box then if not , download Aida 32 to tell you what hardware you have then go to Drivers Guide for the driver then update the driver in the Device Manager
