Comment:
My external USB harddrive seems to have malfunctioned on my PC. It works on ly laptop, but is nor not recognised on my pc. It seem to have lost the driver and won't update it. If I uninstall and re-nstall the driver on the PC will I loose the information and file I have stored on the external hard drive?
I do not want to loose it as I have no where else to store it!

No. Reinstalling the driver will not have any effect on the data stored on the drive.
