this worked for me:
1. Downloaded Thomson Lyra Pocket USB dirver for Windows from www.thomson-lyra.com.
2. Restart
3. Installed MusicMatch Jukebox (5.1 or 7 basic- works with both)
4. In Jukebox-->Options-->Add new features-->MP3 Players-->Thomson Lyra Pocket beta (Windows XP Support)
5. Restart

WORKS for me

Seems like Thomson cannot decide weather the player is K@zoo or Lyra Pocket... If in step 4 I download driver for K@zoo- it does not work.....

My OS is a windows NT4.0 and I am looking for
a USB driver so that it can detect the RCA K@zoo MP3 player.
Windows NT4.0 do not support USB.
There are USB driver development tools out there. But I don't have the technical knowledge to use it. If anybody can help,
I'll appreciate it.

Rca's support for win xp is lacking. hopefully they WAKE UP!

Read response #2 I kinda did it this way but using just the musicmatch jukebox player click on OPTIONS then click ADD NEW FEATURES you must be connected to the internet for this. It should have taken you to the musicmatch website now click on portable mp3 players. Here's where it gets tricky goto the kazoo click on it to download and install. after its intalled you restart your computer to find it doesn't work go back to ADD NEW FEATURES and download the LYRA drivers for the musicmatch jukebox. Now if you click on FILE and SEND TO DEVICE the kazoo works!!!!

I have just re-formatted my hard drive and windows 98 but have lost the disk that comes with the K@zoo player with the usb drivers on. Can anyone tell me where I can get the WIN 98 drivers? All I can find on the web is stuff about xp udgrades etc.

Also music match is not showing the "send to device option" under the "options" menu. Am I correct to assuem that that option will appear once the drivers are installed.

Wow!, what a pain in the butt, with this windows XP and Music Match, after reading and trying various ways on these message boards, I finally got it to work for my Kazoo Mp3 1060.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the various versions of Music Match the 6.1, the 7.2 over and over again. I even tried downloading all the USB's by Thomson and Lyra sites and Music Match RCA Xp versions etc.

I finally figured it out, I had this file Music Match folder still in my program files. I deleted it after uninstalling Music Match and all the USB devices by Thomson, RCA etc.

I installed the Music Match 7.2. went to
file and send to device, noticed the difference this time, is it didn't say download to Kazoo, but it ask to install device by going to Music Matchs website, and finding the Kazoo plug in play XP version, then after it downloaded and rebooted, It finally read my Kazoo, and allowed me to download.

Uurrrrg!! Good Luck in your installations.
