Hey, I just found my Toshiba MEA210 mp3 player, but I don't have the driver/utility cd. I was wondering where I can get it. I have looked all over the place, but no luck. It would be really cool if someone has a link or something. Thanks a lot everyone.

Hi

I downloaded the pdf for the mea210. I guess you need the toshiba audio manager.

manual

I had a look around the web and the toshiba Audio manager software is about 17MB in size. As I don't know what the file might be called I could not google for any instances of the file name. (but I suspect the file will be an iso)

Anyhow I read where toshiba responded to one customer with the part number so they could order it from their local dealer.

I am unable to offer anything else except to have a big winge - which follows...

Looking at the product (via manual) get another player, one that does not have some special handshakey thingy cloak and dagger software built by an overly paranoid company that is worried that other people who havn't bought their mp3 player, may have other "reasons" for downloading a 17MB file.

I avoid these sort of companies as a rule.

Shop for a brand/company that is known to have all of its drivers (or if not [very old 10 years plus] - info and manuals) for most of the hardware they have made. (ie. have a good history of free driver support)
