you will need some simple software to get the best results. here is a link to the best as far as i am concerned and it is only $24. they also sell little tripods to hold your camcorder for you (don't want it to fall off the desk or monitor and get broken). Go to: www.orangemicro.com/webcamdv.html

You can use DVdriver from http://www.trackercam.com
It also lets you use a PowerPod to pan and tilt the camcorder to give you a robotic webcam.
