Comment: I have a dual socket Tomato T810B-SE motherboard with PIII 500. It has an AC'97 sound card onboard. I was using it very smoothly until two days ago when my PC suddenly told me that i was having a problem with the sound card. When i reinstall the driver, windows98 displays a message as follows: message1: fatal error with some big number. Press any key to terminate the application then after i press the any key two times, it after sometime displays a VXD error. on windows XP it gives an error saying the hardware is not responding properly. It also shows hardware conflict. Please Help

Reply: (edit)My headset is not giving very very low sound. How to rectify this? I have Windows'98 second edition installed on my system, with AC'97 sound card. Also, I tried to plug-in external sound card(Aztec) after disabling on-board sound-card in setup. The system refuses to recognize the new hardware. Please help.
