I recently got a laptop off ebay, installed windows XP, and theres a strange black line in the corner. Now, it's definately not hardware. It shows fine on the computers BIOS, and in display settings, it has a weird resolution of 969 - 768. I've downloaded the latest Toshiba drivers off the website, but all thats done is mean there is still a black bar, but I have to scroll to see the screen properly. The resolution is now the standard 1024 - 786, but still not displaying properly. I am at a complete loss of what to do. Its a toshiba sp2100 and a quick google search shows im not the only person with this problem, but none of the suggestions worked for me
