This card has the nvidia chip. Goto www.nvidia.com and download the detonator drivers.

Did you go to www.nvidia.com like Dave suggested above? The Detonator driver is for 2000 and XP. I've donwloaded it but have not installed it.

I have an original installation CD for 95/98/NT if any one is interested.

I am very interested in Steves original CD. I need to enable the feature conector in order to use it with a VFx1 virtual reality headset, so I would need the original drivers. Please help!

I also would be interested in that CD. My question, though, is which version of the Detonator Driver should I get? The current one? One of the 4 types in the archives?

I am also in need for a win2k driver for Velocity 4400 w/TV-Out.
First STB got merged into 3Dfx, then 3Dfx into nvidia. Imagine the complications.
Anyways. the detonator driver worked once before for the tv-support. It was magical.. worked the first time I instaleld it. But after Sonique (I was running a fullscreen vis on the TV) forced a reboot on Win2k the option of tv-out got grayed out. I haven't been able to find a solution around that.
In short, Detonator driver is not fully compatible with the card. and it unstable in detecting the tv-out chipset. Has anyone else noticed that the new driver sometimes detects a different TV chipset than before?!

I have a question for you guys with the STB Velocity 4400. I have an old STB AGP card but am not sure that it is a Velocity 4400. Can anyone tell me what the model number is for a 4400? I can't find any refernce doc's on the net and support for the 4400 is no longer active at 3dfx.

fyi - The model number on my card is 210-0348-001.

Guys. look for a software called TVTool it allows you to utilize that little TV output chip on our legacy video card. =)
It worked a few times for me, but I think I played around it too much that it stopped working.
Anyways. I had great results, the TV-out worked and i was happy for a while.
The program let's you adjust color, contrast, flicker control and hot keys to enable/disable TV-out, it runs as a service in the background docked into the sys tray.

I have version 1317 for NT (dated 10/24/98) and version 1.60 for 95/98 (dated 2/23/99). These are files downloaded from the STB website. I will post them somewhere if anyone has interest and a good suggestion of where.

Use this installer, it supports the TNT-cards as well.
It seems to work fine:

I too, am very interested in Steves Original CD for the velocity 4400 for win98 that was mentioned in Response 4. I would love to get a copy.

The URL in response 11 appears to be valid until you select either of the 98 drivers then it appears to be broken but I'm not sure the reason as I cannot read German.

Thanks,

Dale

Recently upgraded from win 95 to ME and lost use of velocity 4400. Downloaded drivers from this site (which includes step by step instructions) and now it works a treat.
