Stall on FAX installation

I have spent hours myself and with all sorts of HP support. I have not been able to install fax driver for HP Officejet 6310 All-in-one. Have uninstalled in every possible manner including manual uninstall of registry items. Is there a way to work with FAX driver only so it is not necessary to uninstall and re-install when trying to isolate the issue? I have seen many posts but has anyone found a suceesful solution? All other printer items work from PC. FAX works fine from device.

One additinal thought, one HP person said not to do a level 4 uninstall. Next person said to do all 4. At that point printer did not connect at all. After manual uninstall and refreshing ports was able to re-install prinnter software ut still no fax from PC.
