Comment:
I just install Intel Integrated Audio Driver v5.12.01.3516b (SoundMAX) onto my PC, but it cannot fully functional because it asked me to update my driver.
The message is, "This audio driver requires an update to the Microsoft* Windows* 98 SE and Windows* 2000 operating system's audio components".
How to update it since I am using WinXP? Anybody know how to correct this problem. Any patch or driver that will help this?
try this see where u downloaded it extract it then go to control panel and select sound, sound and audio devices, then select hardware and where soundmax is located, highlight it and select properties, then select driver, then update driver and go to install from a list or specific location then don't search i will choose the driver to install, have disk and select where it extracted at and select it.then highlight it after u find it and double click on the file in the box and u should be ready to go.
