Hi, I have a toshiba satellite a45-s121 with the latest(2003?) soundmax audio device drivers. Windows xp recognizes and supports this device driver, but I get no sound from my built in laptop speakers.

Do you have the Sound Muted ? This is either through:

Control Panel
Sound and Audio Devices

alternatively on the laptop itself it has a volume control..
