Subject: sound only works sometimes
OS: Windows XP
CPU/Ram: 128 megs
Comment:
My computer has decided that the sound will only work if you download a game. It won't play cds, music, streaming audio or system sounds. It says that all devices are installed and working properly however when I check the sound it says no system devices and wont let me add any. Someone said that I need to install new sound drivers but I can't get that to work either. HELP

Do you know what your make/model sound card is??
If not download Aida 32 it should tell you what it is then either go to the MFG website or Drivers Guide for the drivers
