We have so many Pc P-IV-2.4 Ghz/256 DDR Ram, 40 GB Seagate HDD, 1.44 FDD, RTL 8029 chipset lan card, 52x samsung Cd drive with Intel D845GEBV2 MBD & OS is WIN98SE.
Problem is that if I enable sound & load the sound driver then if I go DOS prompt it goes to black screen showing error msg "Not reading drive C:" in other application like Office2K showing illegal operation. If I disable sound card then there are no prob. I have so many R&D done on that PC like loading INF file without loading INF. loading sound patch from Intel CD. I have try with 10 PC same configuration..same prob. Pls. help me to short out that prob. asap.
