I reformatted my computer and my sound drivers did not come over with the rest of them. Any way to find out what brand my sound card is? I have two devices shown as not working. A PCI Simple Communications Controller and a Multimedia Audio Controller. They both say reinstall driver ( Code 28 )

What model no./make PC do you have. Self built/store bought? Have you ever looked in you're case? Is it onboard audio or a PCI card? Sounds like it may be a PCI card. Start with the make/model no. on your PC.
