SM56 Speakerphone modem problem

I've got motorola SM56 PCI SPEAKERPHONE MODEM MODEL: FB WS-5614PSL printed on the modemm chip is folowing detail MOTOROLA 62412-51 U35530.2-0.6 9945 ----- I installed driver (filename SM56pcimodem.zip)&it gave ATI response however, when i dialed first time it turned on but nothing happened. I cncelled the process & tried again but got check modem error & response through modem properties received Port already open. re-installed driver but problem persists. Any suggestions?

Are you try to UNCHECK "wait for dial tone" under MODEM PROPERTIES?? On WIN XP go to Control Panel - Modem - Properties - Modem Tab - Dial Control - and there unmark "wait for dial tone". please contact me if you resolve problem. mali-25@net.hr
