I am trying to get my laptop to detect that there is a USB Hard Drive connected to it through DOS. I am using the DUSE drives to no success. I am sure that there is a specific coding that I am missing in config.sys or autoexec.bat but I just don't understand all the settings. I need for DOS to recognize that this drive is connected.....is that really so hard to do?

... though many USB devices will not work correctly whatever driver you use. If this is for GHOSTING would suggest you look at TRUE IMAGE:
