SATA driver for Compaq Notebook

CPU/Ram: 256
Model/Manufacturer: HP Compaq nx6310
Comment:
I am attempting a rebuild on a friend's Compaq nx6310 notebook computer. However, I learned that this notebook has a SATA Hard drive and the install needs the driver thru F6. However, the HP webpage for drivers on this notebook model does not include these drivers. HP's technical chat was no help. I tried the Intel SATA AHCI Controller Drivers but they didn't work.

Any help is greatlyh appreciated.
