Hello every1, I recently bought the SCX 4300 multifunction laser printer. The hardware seemed to be fine, but when it came to installing the driver in vista on my toshiba laptop (satellite A200) , it was a nightmare! It took me nearly an entire day to figure what was wrong, as the USB device not recognized message used to pop up and then, unknown device has been successfully installed. The solution is, after installing the drivers from the CD or the website, you have to update your bios, and then even disable usb legacy support in the bios settings. Only the bios update doesn't work in my case, I had to disable usb legacy support. I hope this helps other people out there who might be going through a nightmare when it comes to installing other devices on vista. If you guys still face difficulties, let me know. Ciao! avinash
