Comment:

I cannot get my computer to display more than 16 colours since re-installing windows 95. I have the correct driver, the ADI microscan 4p from ADI Corp. but I still cannot change the amount of colours or resolution with the adapter setting I have which is an s3 trio32/64PCI. According to my bios, i need an S3Trio+ adapter, but cannot find this anywhere. I have only been able to get into the 800x600 resolution by changing to the SVGA adapter, but this will not let me get into 256, 16 or 32 bit true colour displays that I used to be able to get. Can anyone help? Please mail to : landslidepurist@aol.com
Thanks.

Try running add new hardware and if it asks for a video driver disk, let it find it again. Another possibility is to go to start--control panel--display--settings--advanced--adaptor--and click 'change' then click 'update file'
