Comment: i need a driver for my s3 savage4 vag card
xp is shutting down each time i playin tomb rider or colin mcrae2 the blue screen tell me that my driver is wrong and i have to try another driver
if anybody has a workinf driver please write me how can i get it

Reply: (edit)Try the Win2k drivers.. I just got a Savage card and had to use the W2k drivers. graned i only have tried them on Quake but have had no problems.

Reply: (edit)I had to use the drivers for windows 2000 to get the card to display properly. I can't run my madden 2002 though.....it restarts my computer everytime I start the game. But I can at least use my computer and see what Iam doing. Hopefully microshaft will get the right driver for Win XP.

It's by far the best driver out of the 7 or so others I've tried. http://www.aus3d.net/main.php3?News=5&news_item=4945 Quake3,Need for Speed Porche, Mid town Madness. 3D Mark 2001 occasionally locks up or reboots. If someone is using something better please let me know.

ie. different colours lines,....
some times working in 8 bit colour mode
i am using win xp home edition licensed.
iwhile restarting machine it is showing that my disply card is error device or drivers not functioning properly.
i have installed the drivers still same problem

Reply: (edit)Try Phirax's savage4 xp driver, I am using it and it runs my opengl and d3d games with no problems, MOHAA is the only game I couldn't get to run though. I can't seem to link anymore to his drivers though.

Reply: (edit)Im having a problem any and every driver i get for xp, is buggin. I try to install them and its saying that it is already using the best driver and its the driver that comes with xp. Also when i choose the driver manually (its not digitally signed) it installs and when i boot the screen goes blank and the computer freezes. HELP ME!!!

Reply: (edit)I'm also looking for the Phirax drivers. RtCW keeps crashing one me :( and if I try the any other drivers available on the net, XP freezes. If someone has or knows where I can find the driver PLEASE email me... It would be much appreciated. I haven't been able to play my game in days...so sad.
