RTL8029AS intallation

I tried to install the RTL8029AS network adapter in Windows NT 4.0 (SP6a). However the installation process failed with the following error "Network card is not present in the system". The card is definitely in the system since the BIOS detects the PCI device correctly.
The driver(winnt-8029(506)), which I used, had been downloaded from the Realtek website.
What's wrong?

Try anonther PCI/ASI slot...

Otherwise, Try PE2000 comp. driver
