Hi!
I was wondering if anyone know how remove your voodoo 2 drivers from Win Xp?
I have installed som drivers but it doesn't seem to work, so I want to remove all drivers. I got a error when I start windows "Genport I/O initialization failure"
Please mail me!

Try this, it worked for me:

Goto Device Manager and delete (or uninstall) the voodoo 2 card listing.

Also in Device Manager, goto System Resources and Delete Plug and Play (it will reinstall).

Then reboot your machine in Safe Mode (yes, you have to reboot in safe mode, hit F8 while rebooting will get you in safe mode.

Then goto Device Manager, look for Video Devices or Video Multimedia controller or something like that, you will see it. Then delete it.

I recommend downloading the drivers first and decompressing them, so when you start back up, you can use those files.

to find Voodoo 2 Windows 2000/XP compatible drivers.

I only found this out after extensive searching, but nothing is impossible to find on the Internet!

I wouldn't suppose there are any Voodoo 2 DirectX drivers for XP, are there. I've searched high and low, and have only found Glide.
