I'm running XP Pro.
I did a format, new install with new disc (Pro). blahblah.
I've installed my chipset, audio, and video drivers. But I cant get any sound.
I looked in system information at the Realtek driver, and it says its not running, and its startup is manual.
How can I change it to automatic? And even start it? Sys Info doesn't give you any options to change anything.

What is the model of the sound card? Download Everest to find out what card you have , then either go to Realtek or to somewhere like Drivers Guide Then re-install the sound card drivers,
