Comment: My modem is Aztech MDP3858V-E REAL HELP NEEDED NOW PLEASE.........I have just successfully installed Windows Home XP on my computer to make it duel boot with Windows ’98. The help I need now is to install the XP driver I got a while back for my modem before I started the installation. It came as a zip file then I opened it and created a file for it to sit in ready for now. There is an icon that says HXFsetup but when clicked on it seems to do nothing. I have also MDMXSDK.sys MdmXSdk.dll WINACHCF.sys mdmp4002 mdmp4002.cty.Where do I put them???
At the moment when I click on the setup icon it comes up with error 678 which I think means driver error and it locks out my phone line till I log off.
On ’98 it is still ok. I have aslo been on Aztech web sight can't find driver....have also been on Driver guide web sight no driver.

Reply: (edit)I dont think there are Aztech MDP3858V-E drivers for xp.
If there are no drivers for Aztech MDP3858V-E in system32 directory you will have no luck.
