PS2 Keyboard & USB Mouse problem

I started using USB mouse along with PS2 keyboard. The problem is that when ever I restart the computer the Keyboard stops functioning, it doesn't response at all. Only the mouse works. And sometimes the mouse doesn't work only the keyboard works. Is it any collision between PS2 & USB port? If it is then what is the solution.

I doubt it. Did you try a different keyboard and/or mouse; either ps/2 or usb?
