Subject: Problem w/Lexmark Z33 driver or USB!
Comment:

(Using Win 98se & 2 port USB w/4port hub connected to it.) In moving kids kept the printer disks to the Lexmark Z33 & can't find it--so I downloaded the driver from Lexmark.co. However I've received the same message each time & I've uninstalled the driver when it tells me a file could not be found: C\LXKZ33\English\lexusb.in_. I don't know how to solve the problem. I know one USB works because I have a Cable modem attached to the hub & it works. The other port I'm not sure about nor how to see if it is working. Any ideas about my missing file or the other USB port?

I assume that you have the 4 port USB plugged
into the second USB port. Did the USB hub have
an external power supply?(electric brick)

Unplug the hub and plug in the printer. If it
works it is the hub. If it doesn't work, plug
the modem into this port and the printer into
the port where the modem was connected. If the
modem and the printer work you know it is a hub
problem. If the printer works and the modem
doeesn't you know port two is the problem.

You should be able to look in device manager
and see if the USB ports are working and
the current draw.
Hope this helps.
