I have a Presario 90AU Notebook and I have a problem with my CDRW-DVD Combo drive. I tried to reformat my laptop and when I loaded the 4th QuickRestore System Recovery CD, the drive was having trouble reading the file and it came up with a message "Please insert the next CD". I have tried inserting the CD again but the same message appeared.

Now I'm stuck with a laptop without an operating system. I was just wondering if I could connect my laptop into an external DVD driver and be able to reformat my laptop.

What's the best solution if anyone can help? Thanks
