After installing Winnt workstation on my system.Nt fails to detect my sound card (namely Inc.AC'97 )even after installing the required driver.
I am able to see my driver under Multimedia Properties(in control panel) with the status 'Driver is enable and functioning properly'.But under tab Audio the preferred devices is disabled.
If u have any idea please indicate me the way.

check out the possibility or irq settings .check that u enabled the plug and play option in bios.
