i have a lexmark x515 i purchased the printer a month ago (10/15/2004, i install the driver and it did work fine for 2 weeks, but after that i also am having a similar problem (PRINTER NOT COMMUNICATING) i called lexmark customer support, they did nothing for me, except the updated driver they e-mail me after that all they said was (there is nothing wrong with the printer) this is a nightmare. i have uninstall & reinstall the drivers, plug & unplug the printer, reboot so many times that i lost count, unplug the power cord from printer then replug, purchase a new usb cable, even lexmark e-mail me an updated driver and still the printer still does not communicate with the p.c. i have done everything with no good results. i even reinstall my operating system and reinstall my usb card drivers as well. i have spend 3 days trying to fix this problem, can any body help me with some good advice? : H E L P : i can use anything else. the usb ports works fine anything i plug in to works except the printer, i think the lexmark should do more for us customers, they should be out of bussines if they can't handle the problems.
