Reply: (edit)I found some drivers on the site. Thanx, but my Presario will not recognize them. I was unaware that there were 4 disc's that I had to use to recover, Unfortunately I only have 3 of them. I think I can purchase the system recovory again from HP. Any other suggestions I am open to. Again thanx.

Reply: (edit)Hi Hmm thats strange. I know the download descriptions can be a bit vague, but the drivers your require should be there to download. I once resorted to just getting all the availabe programs [it was an older PI] and sure enough, what I wanted turned up, What do you think is missing?

Reply: (edit)Hi Well at this point I would load up diagnostics. Its still F10? on startup. There should also be a bootable test/diagnostic program supplied for compaq, and available for download. If the driver for the exact same model didn't work, I would then think you might need to apply a rompak? (ie bios upgrade or fix) Signing off for today - anenefan
