I've tried and tried to get this piece of junk to install and it just WILL NOT...I need help BADLY!!! Someone please tell me how to get my Vivitar Vivicam 3632 (2 MP) digital camera to install! I click on "Install Device Driver" and it still won't install?!?! And when I click on the "Digital camera" icon in 'My Computer' of course Vivitar is not one of the cameras listed! I have absolutely no other ideas on how to get it to install because I have tried everything! Someone PLEASE help me SOON! :(

Do you have the install disk that came with the cam? If so try this.Make sure the cam is not conneceted to the computer.Use the disk to install the software first. Shutdown the computer. Connect the camera.Start the computer.Sometimes they are picky about order.

Thanks for replying anyway though. Can't anyone help me? I guess the thing was just a complete waste of money! :( Do I have to have a big $800 camera in order for it to actually INSTALL?

Hi,
Instead of going to "Install Device Driver" just put your cd into your cdr drive, wait for it to auto start, and the press the install icon, that should get the drivers etc onto your "c" drive. Restart your system. Connect your camera to the usb port on your system and you should get new hardware found. Just follow the instructions, and all should work!! If you dont get new hardware found, then either your camera is faulty, or the usb lead or the port.

I hope that might help you a little.

First, I hate Microsoft but if you tell me
more about your particular hardware and OS
installed, we'll have you happy in no time.
Please reply to MY email address, not this
place. You can POST later after we fixed
it. Chow for now.
