I have a Intel® PRO/Wireless 2200BG mini-pci that I Would love to install in my old Gateway. Problem is that no one seams to have drivers for win 98 . Only 200/xp and up . I have try,d downloading the xp drivers and trying them anyway but they wont even install . It's very frustrating since Intel has supported Linux drivers but not win98 . Anyway , if anyone has drivers please let me know where I can get them

Yes orbital , Thats what I'm trying to say . What is this world coming to when they support Linux but not win 98 . Don't get me wrong , I think its great that they have Linux drivers but why not support 98?

Intel decided that they would not support W98/ME to coincide with M$ end-of-life support, Though there are many products which do have W9x drivers, just need to choose carefully what one buys.
