Comment: help , i just figured (6 months later ) that my cdrw dont work , well the little light comes on and it opens and shuts but when i try to copy to it , its saying device not found , so im guessing that im needing the driver but i cant find it any where..any smart poeple out there that know what the hell im talking about ?

Reply: (edit)When I reload my operating system I receive the same message and all I do is install Nero burning rom and it solves the problem for me. Hope this helps you out.

Reply: (edit)Mine does the same thing! Crap! I tried the Philips help desk but they wanted to charge me $20 just to ask the question. Two calls I can get a new burner, which I may have to do. Does anyone have the install disc for the CDRW 800 they can burn for us? Please email me if you can. Thanks! Gary

Reply: (edit)Did you try using the Nero software to start a multi session burn, or did you pre-format the CD with the InCD part of the Nero package?
